ISAL 2019 – International Symposium on Automotive Lighting

Since 1995, the symposium ISAL, organized every two years by the Technical University of Darmstadt, has become a globally recognized forum for automotive lighting technology.

For the thirteenth time, the conference in the Darmstadt Congress Center attracted around 1000 trade visitors with its specialist lectures and exhibitions on the subject of lighting technology.

The focus of the congress was on the communication between automated vehicles and other road users and on high-resolution lighting systems for headlamps. With lectures by Ernst-Olaf Rosenhahn, Michael Scholl, Armin Austerschulte and Gerd Langhammer also Automotive Lighting Reutlingen enriched the event. Sara Paroni from Automotive Lighting Tolmezzo presented her evaluation of light homogeneity in rear lights.
