With every innovation think about day in and day out
Our motivation is to identify trends and develop innovations for today's and tomorrow's automobiles in cooperation with our customers.
This is something that our employees think about day in and day out.
Our experienced engineers, lighting technicians and designers develop high-performance products and work together with a worldwide team in Automotive Lighting & Sensing's customer-oriented application centers.
Our headlamps meet the demanding requirements of the automotive industry, all safety standards and international legal regulations.
With our product and technology innovations, we not only secure our market position but moreover strengthen our partnerships with automobile manufacturers.
They are implemented worldwide into our series projects and serve as innovation milestones.
Success story of innovative lighting systems

Laser
High range
Automotive Lighting & Sensing has developed and series-produced a Laser-Led-Module for the Audi R8 headlamp auxiliary main beam spot. The laser high beam spot achieves a high beam range of approximately 600 meters in comparison to conventional beams with around 250 meters. In the case of laser high beam lighting, one laser module per headlamp generates a cone of light with twice the beam length of the Full-LED-Headlamp.
The laser spot becomes active at speeds higher than 70 km/h and due to its range, increases visibility and safety.

LED
Long lasting
The fast response time, low power consumption, high luminous efficacy in daylight quality and the unique design variety are good reasons for using LEDs (Light Emitting Diode).
Today, Full-Led Headlamps Integrate All of the Required and Desired Lighting Functions in One Headlamp.

Infrared
Seeing the invisible
Safety feature with infrared LED (IRED) allowing for recognition of light free objects (animals and persons) from a distance. Picture visible on a display inside the car.

Xenon
Highly efficient
Compared to conventional halogen headlamps, xenon light provides up to 200% more light with 1/3 less power consumption and a significantly longer service life. This means better illumination of the road surface and the edge of the road.
Additionally, the Daylight-Like Illumination of the Road Enables the Adaptation of Night Vision Natural Viewing Habits.

Halogen
Economical
Halogen lamps have been used in automotive headlamps since the mid-1960s. Compared to previous models, halogen bulbs offer increased light output and longer service life.
They are Used for All Lighting Functions, such as Lo- Beams, High-Beams, Fog Lights or Position Lights.
